Award winning cinematographer Nick Abt created Abt Films in 2016 with a mission to uplift the state of Kansas through documentary filmmaking. Nick focuses on highlighting the wilder side of Kansas, and demonstrates time and again that there is so much to see and learn about in Kansas. Documentaries
Abt Films has created a collection of documentaries designed to inspire, educate and entertain. Nick won audience favorite at the 2020 No Coast Film Fest for his film Exploration Kansas, had a feature film in rotation on PBS Kansas called Kansas From Above, and has worked with a variety of organizations including The Nature Conservancy, The Nicodemus Historical Society, USA Boxing, and The Santa Fe Trail Association.
